Chip Schneider is the President and Chief Financial Officer of Cyrq Energy, a leading provider of clean, reliable, and renewable geothermal power based in Salt Lake City. In this role, he oversees all financial and administrative functions for the company, helping drive its continued growth in the expanding geothermal energy sector. Chip is a business leader with nearly four decades of experience in corporate financial management, including extensive involvement in business operations, strategy, planning, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, treasury, project finance, risk management, business systems, and human resources.
He has held senior management positions—including Treasurer, CFO, and President—at several public and private companies across a variety of industries such as engineering and construction, telecommunications, industrial services, closed-loop recycling, bio-carbon production, and both conventional and renewable power generation. His previous leadership roles include positions at KBR, RigNet, Taurus Industrial Revolution, and Cyrq Energy.
Chip holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. A native of Baton Rouge and former long-term resident of Houston, he now enjoys skiing, hiking, and biking near his home in Park City, Utah.
