Michelle Henrie

Michelle Henrie has worked with or for Cyrq Energy since 2011, when her law firm was selected to help navigate the regulatory framework for New Mexico’s first geothermal power plant. Since then, she has held several key roles within the company, including Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Legal, before joining the senior leadership team in 2024.

Before joining Cyrq, Ms. Henrie provided legal expertise, strategic insight, and practical problem-solving for a range of clients—including energy innovators, developers, water providers, and national retailers. Today, she plays a vital leadership role in guiding Cyrq’s legal strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management across its portfolio.


A dedicated civic leader, Ms. Henrie has served on numerous boards and policy committees. She holds a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School, a Master of Arts in Religion from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Utah State University.
