Chanse Dennis serves as Vice President of Operations at Cyrq Energy, overseeing plant operations across the company’s geothermal fleet. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the geothermal industry, having spent over 19 years at Ormat Technologies in roles spanning engineering, plant operations, and finance.
Most recently, he served as Ormat’s Vice President of Finance, where he managed budgets and financial performance across a 30-plant portfolio and oversaw compliance for more than 50 power purchase agreements across the United States, Central America, and Kenya. Earlier in his career, he held Plant Manager and Site Supervisor roles, commissioning geothermal power plants and leading operational efficiency initiatives.
Chanse holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an MBA in Finance from Purdue University Global. He is based in Reno, Nevada.
